And when you're finished shielding your eyes to look at our living room, I'd like you to know that we chose that color. On purpose. There's only a few minutes a day that it ACTUALLY looks THAT color. Most of the time it is a lovely shade of green. Well, we think it's lovely.
(And a small F.Y.I.- the armoire IS centered in the wall unit, it's just the camera angle is crazy. That is just driving me bonkers.......Oh well. Carry on.)
I'm loving the 'fancy' cabinet in the kitchen where I put all my sweet vintage kitchenware.
And adding the microwave was our (meaning Eric's) first real sweaty, hard work in the house. We're pretty proud of that.

Upstairs we (again, mostly Eric) ripped out the carpet and put wood-'looking' floors in the hall and playroom. I love them. It's flooring from IKEA called 'tundra' and I think it's so cool! We also put together a futon in the extra bedroom and although that was all MY hard work, it's not really blog-worthy, let alone photo-worthy. Just had to throw it out there.
We have a mountain of boxes in the garage but the good news is that they are mostly empty. This morning Livi and I had a long, circular conversation about "where we're living next." Isn't that so sad? I really COULD NOT get her to comprehend that we are staying here indefinitely. She just kept saying "Yah, but where are we going NEXT???!?" My sweet girls. I think we finally landed just in time.

It is about time we got an update! Everything looks great. I can't believe Eric already got the floor down. The wall is still very......green, but it turned out nice. So I guess this means you are ready for visitors :) We are waiting for our invitation to dinner any day now :) I loved the post regarding Livi's first week. What a brave girl. I died laughing that she uses that phrase, it is so mature for such a little girl. I am happy that she is "kind of" getting the picture that this is where she is going to stay. Sounds like they are both adjusting to their new life here in Utah! We are so glad you're here!

Pretty cool Hillbilly! You both have worked so hard to get where you are now. When are you going to invite everyone over? It is mandatory to invite those who store your stuff for you:-) By the way, your clocks on the stove and the microwave are not synchronized. Does this not bother you?
