Big December

I've been circling blogspot, not ready to commit. December was a huge month jam-packed with STUFF. It would take me hours to do it all justice. Unfortunately, I don't have hours for my blog. Eric allots me 34 minutes a month to work on this, and I always end up going over. I don't know why I think that is so funny- I'm totally lying and laughing out loud. Maybe it has something to do with a late afternoon caffeine crash. Anyways, I don't really have a blog time allowance. And I don't 'normally' injest a ton of caffeine but as I've stated before- this has been "the year of caffeine". I could not have survived this past year without it. Back to December!
First there was Franny's party, starting the month off with a bang, ensuring I was already exhausted going in to high shopping, planning, cleaning, hosting, graduation season. After Fran's big day, Broc and Ketsy and Rune came all the way to Enid to visit us! It was so great to see them- they're all so tan and beautiful, it makes me pine for good ol' AZ. For Franny and Rune it seemed like it was love at first sight, or punch, I'm not sure which came first.
They really pushed eachother around but Rune still managed to become Franny's first kiss... and second kiss.. I want those pictures, Ketsy! We showed them around town, and 60% of passengers in the car fell asleep- that's how much Enid rocks. Eric got them a couple of hours in the simulators, which was fun. I wouldn't be surprised if the Air Force came knocking for Broc any day now. F-15's probably. Ketsy, I'm sorry, you gave it your all but I think the Bradley Method still really needs you. Thanks for trying. But really, we had a great time and it's our turn next.
Three days after the Hendershotts left, my Mama and the Cronks (the originals), and Kevin came in for Eric's graduation. Oh - did I not mention that? That Eric GRADUATED??? Ahhhhhh yeahhhh. We DONE! At least for now. It feels sooo good. Eric hates when I add 'O's to words like that but how do I express complete and utter relief?Anyways.... the girls were so excited to see the Grandparents. We really missed Papa but we'll be up to see him soon.
Graduation was great. The ceremony in the morning was solemn and genuine, the girls were beautiful in their new dresses from Grammie, and Eric looked so handsome in his blues. The girls and I pinned Eric's wings on him- my hands were shaking and there was a ginormous lump in my throat but we got through it.

Geez...long much?. to be continued I guess.
