ANYWAYS--- The whole point of that sad story I just related was that I came home with pain killers. During the day I survive on lots of Advil and Aleve (don't worry carpool kids!) but to sleep at night I need something stronger. So Eric has this Guard trip coming up and needs his haircut again. We are pretty cheap and use dog clippers. I KNOW that what happened was ultimately my fault but there were extenuating circumstances.....called drugs. He asked me to help him shortly after I rolled out of bed and I thought I was fit for the job.
He was sooo mad for like 25 seconds until I started crying. I really felt awful! I guess I should clarify. He had already cut his hair with a '3' all over and he just needed me to clean up the edges (I don't recall hearing those instructions) so there was nothing on the clippers. To. The. Scalp.
When he found me hiding in the spare room he softened up and asked me to help him "blend" it in. It actually turned out pretty good. I think he looks hot with almost no hair. He forgives me. Bad pills, Bad!!
So later that day we were straightening in the garage when I came across this little fella. I guess he's a she though, huh?
This is the second black widow we've found in our garage. Eric keeps saying "We need to spray in here, huh?". Um, yes.

That is the funniest and craziest story EVER! Remind me not to ask you any favors when you are on drugs. Don't worry it will grow back soon. And now you have hilarious memories! Besides, if you like the new look ("hot" is the word that I think you used), then maybe you won't want it to grow back.
That spider is disgusting!!! I think I prefer the brown recluse over that thing. YUCK!!
I don't know which picture is scarier Hill. I think you should post one of Eric's 'repaired' haircut. And one of that spider smooshed beyond recognition . . . so I don't have nightmares. K?
I have to say the repair job doesn't look too shabby, and it was definitely worth the story! Wishing you were here with your hub-man. THXGVNG???
Wait, did they take out your whole tooth?!?!
It's amazing how fast hair grows!! We saw Eric today (Monday) and it
doesn't look near that bad! The sun has to hit it just right to see it and we don't see the sun much up here so hey, what's the problem? THE PROBLEM IS THE SPIDER!!Can we please have the swat team in there TODAY? If one of my granddaughters goes missing I'm goin after webs with a torch!!
love you all. mama
Hillarie-
That is so sad. At least you had the drugs to put the blame on. Gabe would have killed me, so Eric was very good about the whole thing:) Although Gabe likes shaving his head so maybe it would not have been so bad. Thats weird about the spider because we have found 2 in our garage too! Scary! Where are your halloween pictures??

Hey it's Jill. How did you find us? Hyrum will be stoked to link up to you guys. So I take it you live in Oklahoma? I had to glean that from post readings. Anyhoodles, I do have a photography blog. It doesn't have my name anywhere on it--which is random--that is why you couldn't find me. I originally set it up just for my friend in Utah to critique me. Now I've started making a little money. Here is the link:

Ironically the link to my blog is also on the side bar of my normal blog. But I guess you didn't see it. That's funny. Anyhow--keep in touch!
