Let me set the mood...... it was Thursday night....... The Office was a FULL HOUR and that put it back to back with LOST. We were admittedly neglectful parents that night. We put on a movie for the girls, I pulled out some ice cream (this is turning into a really long story, I'm sorry) to thaw on the counter and we disappeared into the other room to watch. Somewhere between Michael Scott and Jack Shepard, it got really quiet in the living room so we came out to see what was up. Franny was pawing the ice cream and rubbing it all over her arms like lotion. She was really embarrassed that we caught her and, voila, niagara falls.
See if you can guess what these pictures are...?? Or who they are, I guess. Well, since I don't think most of you are as desperately bored as we are, I better just explain. Eric has this really cool [read:expensive], powerful flashlight and this is what it looks like if you put it into your mouth and puff out your cheeks.

We also had an airshow here a while back. We stayed all day since it was here on base and it was free. This is how excited the girls were to take a picture in front of Daddy's plane.
Jumping is a popular activity here. There's often more tears than laughter but, you know, you take what you can get.
Another 40 days and 40 nights and we are out of here! Does it sound like I'm eager? Well..... I have to admit, leaving will be bitter-sweet. We really are having a good time together and I'm scared spitless to start over again in Utah. But we will survive!

I am glad to see you guys are finding things other than rattlesnakes to entertain yourselves with. We are headed to SD this weekend and we were reminiscing about our first Labor Day trip so many years ago. Does snorkeling on Eric's back ring any bells?

If you can have this much fun without spending money, just think of what you can do someday when you do!! The ice cream "lotion", and flashlight faces were hilarious! Look forward to seeing you guys. What did you think of the pictures? Are you still leaning towards the condo?

BOOOO! I hope you just fell over from shock. Next time I have an ice cream craving I will have to try putting it on the outside instead of the inside. I love her curls!

I want to see your pictures from when you went to the cave. It was pretty warm and I was drenched in sweat...pretty HOT eh? I know exactly what you mean about the "worm" in the HOST. I never cry when reading books and I totally did on this one. I really liked the book.
